The The Provincetown Theater Foundation, Inc. was formed in 2001 to serve as a professional facility management company dedicated to building and managing a home for the theatre arts in Provincetown and especially for its two resident companies, the Provincetown Theatre Company and the Provincetown Repertory Theatre.

This unique collaboration between the forty year old community theatre company (PTC) and the seven year old Actor's Equity theatre company (REP) will significantly reduce current cost duplications and services while expanding overall audiences for both companies.

What's more, the new theater will offer a performance venue and meeting space for other community groups and performing arts organizations on Cape Cod.
